The hallway is the room guests first enter. This room should make your guests feel welcome and give a first impression of who you are.
The hallway has many practical functions. We often use it to store shoes and clothes. This is where we last check that we have remembered everything before going out – and perhaps we also have a look at the clock before leaving the house. This is where we leave our coats, gloves, hats, keys, bags etc, when we come home. In other words, the hallway is where we say hello and goodbye.
It may be somewhat of a challenge to find furniture which fits the hallway in terms of size, functionality and the look desired. Of course, you can settle for a coat rack, but to get the most out of the room, you should go for exciting storage solutions that are both practical and beautiful in a classic way.

Styling tip
Store your wristwatches on a holder or rack, for instance under a shelf. It looks both chic and decorative – and they are easy to find when you are about to leave.
